Can coloring a mandala ease a NICU Mother's anxiety?
NCT ID NCT06499259
Summary
This study tested whether a simple mandala coloring activity could help reduce stress and anxiety in mothers whose newborn babies were in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). 72 mothers were randomly assigned to either color mandalas daily for a week or to a comparison group. The goal was to see if this creative, focused activity could provide emotional relief during a very difficult time.
