Can simple tracking and tips help cancer patients cope with Chemo's awful taste side effects?
NCT ID NCT06669416
Summary
This study is testing whether education and self-monitoring tools can help cancer patients better manage taste changes caused by chemotherapy. It will involve 400 patients starting chemo, comparing usual care to an approach where nurses teach patients to track symptoms and use strategies to cope. The goal is to see if this support helps lessen the severity of taste problems and helps patients maintain their food intake.
