Veterans take charge: new study lets patients control blood pressure with pharmacist backup

Summary

This study tests whether letting patients with chronic kidney disease manage their own blood pressure medications, with guidance from a clinical pharmacist, works better than standard care. About 160 veterans will participate. The goal is to see if this self-management approach leads to better blood pressure control.
