Summary
This program provides eltrombopag, a drug that raises platelet counts, to patients with serious or life-threatening thrombocytopenia who have no other treatment options and cannot join a clinical trial. Doctors must request the drug for individual patients who may benefit. The goal is to control the disease when standard therapies have failed.
