First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study aims to increase breast cancer screening among Native American women on the Navajo Nation. About 200 women aged 40-74 who haven't had a mammogram in the past year will receive either a tablet-based education program alone or with added one-on-one support from a Diné peer navigator. The goal is to see if the extra support helps more women get mammograms within three months.
