Researchers seek better way to spot malnutrition in dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT06580093
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to define and measure malnutrition in adults with chronic kidney disease who are on long-term dialysis. Researchers will observe 69 patients, collecting data from medical records at two Swedish hospital units to see how different definitions of malnutrition relate to future quality of life, muscle strength, and survival. The goal is to improve the tools doctors use to spot and understand nutrition problems in this patient group.
