Summary

This study aims to measure how common malnutrition is among adult patients in Iraqi hospitals, particularly those with conditions like COPD, Alzheimer's disease, or those in intensive care. Researchers will screen 300 hospitalized patients using standard nutrition assessment tools to determine how many are malnourished. The goal is to gather data about this often-overlooked problem that can lead to worse health outcomes and longer hospital stays.
