Oxford tests Dual-Action malaria shot in babies

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and immune response of two new malaria vaccine candidates. One vaccine targets the malaria parasite in the liver, while the other targets it in the blood. Researchers are giving the vaccines separately and together to 107 healthy adults and infants in The Gambia to see how well they are tolerated.
