Scientists test stronger malaria booster for african children

NCT ID NCT07074665

Summary

This study is testing a booster dose of a malaria vaccine in school-aged children in Burkina Faso. About 40 children who previously received the R21 malaria vaccine will get one extra shot at either a standard or a higher dose. Researchers will check how safe the booster is and how well it strengthens the children's immune protection against malaria over one year.
