New blood test could spot hidden digestive problems in pancreatitis patients

Summary
This study uses a special blood test to find mild-to-moderate digestive problems in people with chronic or recurrent pancreatitis. Some participants will then receive either pancreatic enzyme pills or a placebo for 8 weeks to see if their quality of life improves. The goal is to better identify who benefits from enzyme therapy and how it affects daily well-being.
