Summary

This study is testing whether a Maitake mushroom supplement can improve immune function in people receiving chemotherapy or CDK4/6 inhibitors for cancer. Researchers will measure changes in blood neutrophil counts and other immune markers. The trial involves 40 adults with solid tumors who are currently on systemic cancer therapy in Ontario, Canada.
