Zap away back pain? magnetic therapy tested

NCT ID NCT07243548

Summary

This study tested whether a treatment called repeated peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS) could ease pain and improve movement for people with long-term lower back pain. Forty participants were randomly assigned to receive either the real magnetic treatment or a very low-dose 'placebo' version over 10 sessions. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, daily function, and quality of life to see if the treatment helped.
