Brain magnet therapy tested for faster psychosis relief

NCT ID NCT06581302

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a newer brain stimulation treatment, called Magnetic Seizure Therapy (MST), to standard antipsychotic medication helps control symptoms of psychosis faster and with fewer side effects than medication alone. Researchers will compare two groups of 50 adults with active psychosis over several weeks. The goal is to see if MST can be a helpful add-on treatment for people whose symptoms are difficult to manage.
