Brain zaps tested as new hope for bipolar depression

NCT ID NCT06524505

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation treatment can help people with bipolar depression feel better. One hundred participants will receive either real or fake stimulation alongside their regular medication to see if it reduces depression symptoms and improves memory and thinking. The treatment involves daily 20-minute sessions for four weeks while researchers track changes in mood and cognitive function.
