Summary

This study tested whether giving magnesium alongside a common chemotherapy drug (cisplatin) could protect patients' kidneys from damage. It involved 75 people with head and neck cancer who were receiving cisplatin. Researchers compared three different doses of magnesium to find the most effective one for preventing kidney injury.
