Summary
This study is testing whether giving magnesium through an IV during hip surgery helps reduce pain afterward. Researchers want to see if this approach lowers pain scores and reduces the need for opioid pain medications. The study involves 64 people who are having a specific hip surgery called periacetabular osteotomy.
