Can a simple diet change protect cancer patients from a common chemo side effect?

NCT ID NCT04310826

Summary

This study is testing whether eating more magnesium-rich foods can prevent low magnesium levels in the blood, a common side effect of carboplatin chemotherapy for ovarian cancer. Researchers are working with 26 patients to see if this dietary approach is practical and effective. Participants receive a food list and weekly check-ins with a dietitian during their chemotherapy treatment.
