Could X-Ray vision replace implants for lung cancer radiation?

NCT ID NCT04086082

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new X-ray technology that aims to track lung tumors during radiation treatment without needing to implant markers in the lung. About 30 people with early-stage lung cancer or limited lung metastases will participate. The goal is to see if the markerless tracking is accurate enough to guide radiation in real time.
