Disappearing ink could make radiation easier for breast cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07095114

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new tattoo ink called Magic Ink that fades away over time, used to mark the exact spot for daily radiation in women with breast cancer. About 30 participants will get the Magic Ink instead of standard permanent ink. Researchers want to see if it is safe and still visible enough for therapists to set up the radiation machine correctly each day.
