Fatty liver fight: soy extract vs. betaine in Head-to-Head trial

Summary

This study aims to see which of two dietary supplements works better to reduce fat in the liver for people with metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). It will involve 200 adults diagnosed with fatty liver. Researchers will measure changes in liver fat using medical imaging to compare the effectiveness of essential phospholipids (from soybeans) against betaine HCL/L-glutamic acid.
