Summary
This study aims to understand how nutrition affects the eyes and skin by measuring natural pigments called carotenoids. Researchers will use non-invasive methods to measure these pigments in the eye and skin of 10,000 participants, and also check blood levels in some. The goal is to validate these measurement methods and learn more about the role of diet in tissue health.
