First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study aims to find out if surgery to remove an adrenal gland or a weight-management medication works better for adults with a mild hormone imbalance called MACS. Researchers will compare how these treatments affect blood sugar control, body composition, and overall health over about 6-7 months. The study also includes a comparison group without the condition to see if the medication works differently.
