Summary
This study at Stanford University uses machine learning to better understand different types of atrial fibrillation (AF), a common heart rhythm problem that can cause dizziness, stroke, and death. Researchers will collect data from 120 adults undergoing a heart procedure called ablation to train an AI algorithm. The goal is to see if the AI can predict which patients will have a successful outcome one year after treatment and identify the best targets for the procedure.
