Scientists seek genetic clues to rare eye disorders

NCT ID NCT01778543

Summary

This study aims to understand the genetic causes of a group of rare eye conditions known as MAC, which can lead to vision problems including blindness. Researchers will enroll 600 people, including those with MAC and their unaffected family members, to collect medical information and DNA samples. The goal is to identify the genes involved and learn more about how these conditions develop.
