Could a tiny scaffold boost lymphedema surgery success?

NCT ID NCT05825157

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special scaffold (BioBridge) to standard lymph node transfer surgery helps treat arm swelling (lymphedema) better than surgery alone. About 60 adults with mild-to-moderate lymphedema will take part. The goal is to see if the scaffold helps new lymphatic connections form, improving limb volume reduction.
