First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new surgical technique called immediate lymphatic reconstruction (ILR) done at the same time as lymph node removal for breast cancer. The goal is to prevent lymphedema, a painful arm swelling that can happen after surgery. Researchers will follow 100 women to see if ILR helps keep arm size and fluid levels normal.
