Summary
This study is testing whether removing lymph nodes before standard treatment helps women with advanced cervical cancer live longer without their cancer getting worse. Researchers will compare two approaches: standard treatment alone versus surgery to remove lymph nodes followed by standard treatment. The study involves 452 women with stage IIICr cervical cancer who have enlarged lymph nodes visible on scans.
