Radical lymph node surgery trial aims to stop kidney Cancer's return
NCT ID NCT07321197
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for high-risk kidney cancer patients. It tests whether removing a standard set of lymph nodes (template dissection) is better at preventing cancer return and helping patients live longer than only removing visibly enlarged nodes. Researchers will randomly assign 220 patients to one of the two surgery groups and monitor them for up to 10 years to see which approach works better and is safer.
