Summary

This study tested whether lycopene, an antioxidant found in cooked tomatoes, can improve sperm quality in men with low numbers of swimming sperm. 34 men took either lycopene capsules or placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers compared semen samples before and after to see if lycopene increased total motile sperm count.
