Scientists test if a different type of breathing support helps heart pump patients
NCT ID NCT07034599
Summary
This study aims to understand how two different methods of helping patients breathe affect heart function in people who have received a mechanical heart pump (LVAD). Researchers will compare standard breathing support with a newer external method in 30 stable patients. The main goal is to see which method better supports the right side of the heart's pumping ability.
