Neck surgery could help flush Alzheimer's toxins from brain

Summary
This early-stage study tests if a minimally invasive neck surgery, called LVA, is safe for people with Alzheimer's disease. The surgery creates a detour to help the brain drain harmful waste proteins. Researchers will monitor 35 participants for side effects and any changes in memory or daily function over 12 months.
