New radiation therapy shows promise for Tough-to-Treat prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding a radioactive drug (lutetium-177 rosopatamab) to standard treatment helps men with a specific type of advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 520 men with PSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer will be randomly assigned to receive the drug plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the combination slows cancer growth and improves survival.
