Tiny study aims to unlock timing secrets of embryo implantation

NCT ID NCT07028710

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This pilot study looks at how progesterone levels change after using a hormone shot (hCG) to trigger ovulation in women preparing for frozen embryo transfer. Forty women will give blood samples over six days to track their hormone patterns. The goal is to learn if hCG affects the timing of the luteal phase, which may help improve embryo implantation success.
