Radioactive drug trial offers new hope for Tough-to-Treat brain tumors

Summary

This study is testing a radioactive drug called Lutathera for patients with a type of brain tumor called meningioma that cannot be removed by surgery and has continued to grow after radiation treatment. The drug is given through an IV and is designed to find and kill tumor cells. The main goal is to see if Lutathera can safely stop or slow the tumor's growth for at least six months in these patients who have few other treatment options.
