First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a gel called LUT017 on chronic leg wounds (venous leg ulcers) that haven't healed with standard care. About 18 adults will apply the gel once a week for 8 weeks. The main goal is to check safety, but researchers will also look for signs the gel helps wounds heal faster.
