New program aims to protect women with lupus during pregnancy planning
NCT ID NCT05818254
Summary
This study is testing a training program for doctors to improve pregnancy planning and contraception care for women with lupus. Researchers are adapting a program that worked at Duke University to see if it fits well at the University of Chicago Medical Center, which serves many minority and low-income patients. The goal is to prepare for a larger trial by seeing if the program helps doctors provide better, more equitable reproductive health guidance to women with this autoimmune disease.
