Summary
This study tested two different drug combinations to control lupus nephritis, a serious kidney complication of lupus. Researchers compared tacrolimus plus steroids against mycophenolate mofetil plus steroids in 130 Asian patients. The goal was to see which combination better protected kidney function and reduced protein in urine over two years.
