New therapy aims to ease the hidden struggles of kids with lupus
NCT ID NCT06232304
Summary
This study is testing a 6-session therapy program called TEACH, designed to help young people (ages 12-22) with childhood lupus better manage their symptoms. The program teaches coping skills for fatigue, pain, and depression, and is being delivered by trained members of their own rheumatology care teams. Researchers want to see if integrating this mental health support into regular medical visits improves quality of life and disease management.
