Scientists investigate why lupus patients age prematurely

NCT ID NCT05698173

Summary

Researchers will compare blood samples from 50 lupus patients with age-matched healthy volunteers to measure immune cell aging markers. The study is observational only - it won't test treatments but seeks to explain why lupus patients face higher risks of age-related health problems.
