New wrist surgery aims to ease pain from old fractures

Summary
This study tests a surgery called lunocapitate fusion for people with wrist arthritis from an old, untreated scaphoid fracture (SNAC wrist). The surgery fuses two wrist bones to reduce pain and keep some movement. About 35 adults aged 18-60 will take part. The goal is to see if this surgery improves wrist function and quality of life.
