Surgery breathing time linked to Post-Op lung risks?
NCT ID NCT07100860
Summary
This study aims to understand if the amount of time a patient has only one lung breathing during chest surgery affects their risk of developing lung complications afterward, like pneumonia or severe breathing trouble. Researchers will observe 134 adults having this type of surgery to see if a longer single-lung ventilation time leads to more problems. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help surgeons better manage these procedures to improve patient safety.
