Summary

This study looks at 650 adults over 50 having keyhole lung surgery for early-stage lung cancer. During surgery, only one lung is ventilated, which can cause low oxygen and lung problems afterward. Researchers will test different breathing machine settings to see which leads to fewer complications like pneumonia or respiratory failure in the first week after surgery.
