Doctors test new imaging to Fine-Tune life support breathing
NCT ID NCT07379242
Summary
This study aims to compare different imaging methods to see how well they predict whether a patient's lungs can be opened up during mechanical ventilation. It will observe 50 sedated patients with acute respiratory failure who are already on a ventilator. Researchers will use special imaging scans while adjusting the ventilator settings to see which method gives the most consistent picture of lung function.
