Summary
This study is testing whether medical trainees can learn to use a bedside ultrasound device to detect a collapsed lung after heart surgery. After patients have their chest tubes removed, a trainee will perform an ultrasound while the patient also gets the standard chest X-ray. The goal is to see if this faster, radiation-free method can be taught and used accurately in real hospital settings.
