Summary
This study looks at whether a simple, non-invasive lung ultrasound can help doctors predict which patients will need extra oxygen or develop lung complications after major surgery that does not involve the chest. Researchers will follow 97 adults aged 18 to 65 who are having long surgeries under general anesthesia. The goal is to see if the ultrasound score is linked to early breathing problems, which could help doctors provide better care.
