Healthy volunteers help unlock lung protein secrets
NCT ID NCT07362290
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at how a drug called XBD173 attaches to a protein (TSPO) in the lungs of 16 healthy volunteers. Using PET scans and blood tests, researchers aim to find the right dose to fully occupy TSPO, and whether food affects drug levels. The results will guide future studies on lung diseases like pulmonary arterial hypertension.
