Website aims to boost lung transplant awareness in cystic fibrosis

NCT ID NCT06030206

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests if a special website helps people with cystic fibrosis (CF) feel more prepared to discuss lung transplant with their doctors. Many people with CF die without ever considering this option, especially those from marginalized communities. Over 6 months, 132 participants will use the website, complete surveys, and have clinic visits recorded to see if it improves their readiness for these important conversations.
