Breathing easier after surgery: study tests safer lung re-inflation

NCT ID NCT07247500

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to re-inflate a patient's lung after lung cancer surgery to reduce breathing problems. It will compare a standard manual method to a newer, monitored method using the anesthesia machine. The goal is to see which technique leads to fewer complications like pneumonia or collapsed lung in the week after surgery.
