First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study uses a new, radiation-free machine called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to look at the lungs of children from 2 weeks to 25 years old. Researchers will compare kids with chronic lung problems to healthy kids to learn more about lung structure and function. The goal is to better understand how lung disease changes over time without using X-rays or CT scans.
