First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study is testing a type of radiation called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for people with lung cancer or cancer that has spread to the lung. The treatment delivers high doses of radiation in just 3 to 10 sessions over 1 to 2 weeks. Researchers want to see how well it controls tumors and what side effects occur. About 200 adults with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer or limited lung metastases from other cancers will take part.
